Alia Campos (b. 2004) is an interdisciplinary artist and writer from Los Angeles with a B.A. in Studio Art from the University of California, San Diego. Working across drawing, photography, sound, and sculpture, her practice investigates memory, grief, and the cognitivite immobility tied to photographs and her childhood.

Drawing from familial archives and photographs, Campos considers how histories of loss persist beyond their immediate events. becoming embedded within cultural memory tied to Lebanon as well as identity, and the body. Her work examines the transmission of absence–what is remembered or distorted.
